Stargazing for the Whole Family – For Both Kids and Adults!
Kid-friendly & playful activity in Tenerife. Children can also look through a telescope, making it a truly interactive family experience.
Our program starts with a sunset, where you can watch the sun set between the islands of La Palma, El Hierro, and La Gomera. This alone is a beautiful part of the program. After that, as it gets dark, in a completely light-pollution-free environment, with the help of a English speaking professional astronomer, the whole family can experience the wonder of the cosmos. The astronomer explains the cosmos and stars in a fun, kid-friendly way, making the evening educational and playful. Children can also look through a telescope, making it a truly interactive family experience.
From the Teide National Park, at an altitude of 2100-2300 meters, using our professional telescope, star formations, galaxies, Jupiter, Mars, and celestial bodies thousands of light-years away are clearly visible. We welcome children as young as 3 years old. We’ll show them impressive formations, such as the Lion, Scorpion, and Gemini, in a fun and engaging way.
