Boat trip to Tenerife – Read Dolphin and Whale

Live the experience aboard an authentic sailing boat made of hardwood and built for the private use of an Arab sheikh.

The Shogun is a 2 deck, double masted sailing ship with 3 facilities (one of which is designed for disabled guests), including an open bar and a large central table where food is served. A 5 hour excursion to see whales of different species and bottlenose dolphins. In addition, during our trip we will sail to the famous Los Gigantes cliffs, where we will snorkel in a beautiful bay.

The boat complies with Canary and international dolphin and whale watching regulations and has a yellow flag and a blue boat mark, guaranteeing the sighting of whales and dolphins while ensuring their maximum well-being.

Due to the geographical location of the Canary Islands, and especially the southern part of Tenerife, the water temperature ranges between 17 and 24 degrees Celsius all year round, influenced by the trade winds and the peak of Teide.

This ensures the permanent presence of many cetacean species such as the bottlenose dolphin, the bottlenose dolphin and other migratory species such as fin whales, newt whales, common dolphins….

After the spectacular sighting and observation of these magnificent animals, we will anchor at Masca Bay and the stunning cliffs of Los Gigantes to enjoy a well-deserved swim and hearty lunch.
