Description
Family Dolphin and Whale excursion on a pirate boatÂ
Our pirate sailing boat departs from the port of Los Cristianos. After setting sail, we head out to the Atlantic Ocean between Tenerife and La Gomera, home to the indigenous dolphin and whale species.
During the 3-hour boat trip you will see different species of whales and dolphins up close. They often frolic alongside the ships, jumping, visibly enjoying the waves created by the ships and swimming in competition with the bow of the ship. Bottlenose dolphins (pilot whales) live in one place so you have a 100% guarantee of seeing them, bottlenose and spotted dolphins come and go (fast swimmers) so the chances of seeing them are only 50-70%. However, the smaller dolphins will usually swim alongside the faster boat, off the bow, for several minutes.
The boat has a capacity of 60 people. The boat also stops in a beautiful bay where you can snorkel with giant turtles and see the colourful ocean life. Goggles and a pipe are provided of course, and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks, tapas, sandwiches, champagne, wine and beer are served during the trip. Book easily and conveniently today so you don’t miss out on Tenerife’s top activities. The children’s favourite because of Jack Sparrow, who is a regular on board. 🙂
