We are proud to offer one of the most exciting new adventure activities on the island – a Via Ferrata in Tenerife, which could easily become one of the top outdoor experiences of 2026.

Welcome to Tenerife’s first Via Ferrata route, where a wide variety of exciting challenges awaits you. The adventure starts with a thrilling rappel (abseil), followed by traversing sections across volcanic cliffs, a fun zipline, several suspension bridges, and vertical climbing sections that will test your confidence and reward you with spectacular views.

A Via Ferrata in Tenerife is the perfect combination of hiking, climbing, and canyoning adventure. Thanks to the safety cables and professional equipment, you can enjoy the excitement of vertical terrain while being securely attached throughout the entire route.

The surrounding volcanic landscape creates an unforgettable setting. As you progress along the route, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views, unique rock formations, and a completely different side of Tenerife far away from the tourist crowds.

This activity is recommended for children with a minimum height of 150 cm, making it a fantastic adventure for active families, couples, groups of friends, and solo travellers looking for something truly memorable.

To help you remember your experience, we will take photos and videos during the activity and send them to you after the tour.

Description

Departure Times

Duration of the Via Ferrata Tour

  • 2–3 hours

Difficulty Level

  • Easy to Moderate
  • During the activity, participants can choose between easier and more challenging sections depending on their previous via ferrata experience and confidence level.

Minimum Number of Participants

  • The Via Ferrata program requires a minimum of 4 participants.
  • If you book for only two people, we will inform you in advance whether the activity can be confirmed or needs to be rescheduled.

  • Guided tour in Englih and / or Spanish by a qualified Spanish canyoning and mountain guide
  • Complete via ferrata equipment:
    • Helmet
    • Via ferrata set

    • Descender (figure-eight device)
    • Dynamic lanyard

  • Liability and accident insurance

What Should You Bring?

  • Good mood, curiosity, and a sense of adventure
  • Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing and a backpack
  • At least 2 litres of water and food for the duration of the activity
  • Sun protection: sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
  • Plastic bag for rubbish
  • Fully charged mobile phone
  • Any personal medication you may require (high blood pressure medication, etc.)

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the activity: full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the activity: the deposit is non-refundable.

  • Your online booking confirmation also serves as your voucher, which must be presented to your guide on the day of the tour.
  • Please also complete the online registration form sent after booking.
  • Detailed information and final instructions will be sent to you before the activity.
