One of the most beautiful places in Tenerife is the village of Masca. During the Masca tour you can see huge volcanic cliffs, palm trees, cactus, special flowers, hollow cliffs, solidified lava flows and a stream. This trek can only be done with an official mountain guide and requires a permit, which is available with us. The hike is recommended for regular hikers, such as families, pairs or for friends. The Masca valley offers you silence, volcanic trek, panoramic and magnificent view to other Canarian islands. Discover with us the hidden treasure of the pirates and their history.

Recommended for families, but not for small children, only from from 10-12 years old. It is advisable to book early as this is one of our most popular tours.

How to get to Masca village?
Bus transport – Line 355
If you are coming from the north of the island, you should take the TITSA line 355 from Buenavista del Norte.
If you are coming from the south, you should take line 355 at in Santiago del Teide.
Both services have a very limited capacity so we recommend to be at these stops well in advance.
Parking is very scarce in the hamlet of Masca, so it is recommended to park in the marina of Los Gigantes and take a taxi to Masca. Once you have finished your activity, the boat will take you to where you have parked your car. To arrive on time we recommend to take the taxi in Los Gigantes at 9 am.

- You can cancel the tour free of charge 72 hours before departure
- Within 72 hours cancellation, is non-refundable
Additional important infos:
We reserve the right to change the program due to weather conditions. For sure we only see this in the week/days before the trips. The entry into the Masca gorge may be affected by strong wind or rainfall as well. That is why we can even receive a notification on the day of the tour that Masca valley is closed. In this case, we can offer you a plan”B” in the Teno National parl area, a tour of similar beauty and difficulty.
After booking and paying the full deposit – 100%, you will receive a voucher in English which you will be asked to show on spot.
